This pledge includes, breeding programs for kelp forest species, habitat monitoring, genetic banking, and
sharing of information with our 1.5 million annual guests, including conservation actions they can take.
Achieving our pledge will contribute to creating an more informed public in Southern California, and
beyond, who act as stewards to kelp forests and marine and coastal environments more broadly.
