The occurrence of these low-lying algae is likely related to human induced hydromorphological changes to the shoreline and high sediment resuspension rates (Falace et al., 2010; Orlando Bonaca and Rotter, 2018) rather than nutrient enrichment, as the northern Adriatic is considered oligotrophic (Mozetič et al., 2012)."},"reasons":[{"__typename":"Platform_Reason","id":"65d594511368b052bf6ffa38","name":"Overgrazing","slug":"overgrazing","openGraph":{"id":"openGraph_reason/overgrazing","title":"Overgrazing","description":null,"image":null}}],"place":{"__typename":"Platform_Place","id":"6a2643f09a32124b2b3b6673","name":"Miramare MPA","latitude":45.701802,"longitude":13.71421},"organisation":{"__typename":"Platform_Organisation","id":"65d594011368b052bf6ff0a8","name":"Universita' di Trieste","slug":"ricercatore-universita-di-trieste","openGraph":{"id":"openGraph_organisation/ricercatore-universita-di-trieste","title":"Universita' di Trieste","description":null,"image":{"id":"image_kelp-forest-alliance/organisation/ricercatore-universita-di-trieste_logo__logo_units_dq7s6f","url":"https://res.cloudinary.com/shapeable/image/upload/v1668995818/kelp-forest-alliance/organisation/ricercatore-universita-di-trieste_logo__logo_units_dq7s6f.gif","url2x":null}}},"organisations":[{"__typename":"Platform_Organisation","id":"65d594011368b052bf6ff0a8","name":"Universita' di Trieste","slug":"ricercatore-universita-di-trieste","openGraph":{"id":"openGraph_organisation/ricercatore-universita-di-trieste","description":null,"title":"Universita' di Trieste","image":{"id":"image_kelp-forest-alliance/organisation/ricercatore-universita-di-trieste_logo__logo_units_dq7s6f","url":"https://res.cloudinary.com/shapeable/image/upload/v1668995818/kelp-forest-alliance/organisation/ricercatore-universita-di-trieste_logo__logo_units_dq7s6f.gif","url2x":null}},"country":null}],"motivations":[{"__typename":"Platform_Motivation","id":"65d5944a1368b052bf6ff8e4","name":"Improving Methodologies","slug":"improving-methodologies","openGraph":{"id":"openGraph_motivation/improving-methodologies","title":"Improving Methodologies","description":{"id":"65d5944a1368b052bf6ff8e4_description","text":"Restoration is a technical process and we are still determining the best approaches to restore kelp forests, your restoration project may be motivated by the desire to refine your methods and learn more about how to effectively conduct restoration."},"image":null}},{"__typename":"Platform_Motivation","id":"65d5944a1368b052bf6ff8e2","name":"Answering Scientific Questions","slug":"answering-scientific-questions","openGraph":{"id":"openGraph_motivation/answering-scientific-questions","title":"Answering Scientific Questions","description":{"id":"65d5944a1368b052bf6ff8e2_description","text":"Restoring an ecosystem system can also create the opportunity to conduct scientific research and answer questions about kelp forests grow, respond to their environment, and interact with the many other seaweeds and animals that share the ocean with them."},"image":null}}],"contact":null,"citation":{"__typename":"Platform_Citation","id":"6a2644e99a32124b2b3b6679","slug":"where-and-how-new-insight-for-brown-algal-forest-restoration-in-the-adriatic","url":"https://ricerca.ogs.it/retrieve/60d804d2-deb9-443b-928e-fbd0c3cfaf82/fmars-09-988584.pdf","name":"Where and how-new insight for brown algal forest restoration in the Adriatic","authors":[],"authorShowsEtAl":null,"edition":null,"publication":"Orlando-Bonaca, M., Savonitto, G., Asnaghi, V., Trkov, D., Pitacco, V., Šiško, M., ... & Falace, A.
