At 6 artificial reef sites, an average of 2 Sargassum species were found in the first monitoring study (May 2018), 6 species in the second monitoring study (July 2020), and 6 species in the third monitoring study (October 2020). However, the Sargassum species mostly dominated by 3 species of S. patens that have highly the percent cover, followed by S. hemiphyllum/S. piluliferum. Meanwhile, at 3 natural reef sites, there were 2, 2, and 3 species of Sargassum, respectively, with dominated by S. patens followed by S. macrocarpum.
